Warranty & Returns Policy
iCam Security Services guarantees that goods will be of acceptable quality, meaning they will be fit for their intended purpose, have no defects, be safe and durable in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. All new products sold by iCam Security Services are covered by a 12 month or manufacturer’s warranty, whichever is the greater.
WARRANTY
Our warranty is limited to the replacement of faulty items or parts and does not include the return shipping costs, labour costs for installing the purchased item, nor does it include damage due to incorrect fitting of parts or accessories.
A claim under warranty for repair or replacement must be made within the warranty period which commences from purchase date. Proof of purchase or order reference/receipt must be provided with the claim.
Items returned under warranty are forwarded to the manufacturer for testing. If the manufacturer deems the item does not have a valid claim under warranty, the original item will be returned to the customer.
RETURNS
iCam Security Services will accept returns if the product is not fit for its intended purpose, does not match the specification or description or the part was incorrectly supplied. Where iCam Security Services considers the supply of the products to have breached Australian Consumer Guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to iCam Security Services will be at iCam Security Services costs.
Requests for returns due to change of mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it are not covered by the Australian Consumer Guarantee. Returns will be at the discretion of iCam Security Services and will be assessed on a case by case basis. The product must be returned in the unopened original condition and packaging with all parts and accessories included. Return shipping will not be paid by iCam Security Services for these type of returns.
All requests for return must be within 10 days from date of purchase (unless a warranty claim).
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Australian warranty may be voided and returns not possible if a product is shipped to an international customer and/or installed outside of Australia.
