Surprisingly good colour at night in the right setting when appropriately configured

We placed this camera in our front yard, facing the road, which gets a bit of light from a street light, replacing an older Hikvision camera with IR that was therefore black and white at night. The difference was like chalk and cheese - not only colour, but areas that were dark with the old camera were visible with this one. We can now even identify the true colour of cars that drive past. Hint: force on the WDR setting to equalise the brightness across the scene and do make use the supplemental LED light (I have mine capped at 50% brightness).
